Initial photos
Before beginning my Paintings, I took a series of photos of my own body to use as references. I focused especially on exploring the way my body folded and contorted, exaggerating my figure and purposefully exposing my ‘ bad’ angels instead of trying to make myself appear flattering and slim.
After I took my initial photos I did a series of sketches exploring my proportions focusing on the exaggerated angels of my body.
